1. How long will it take before I receive my Down Etc products?

Down Etc product orders are processed within 3-5 business days and are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.


2. What happens if I receive the incorrect product, or I want to return my purchase?

Down Etc will accept your return if received within 5 business days of receipt of product and the product has not been slept on. Due to the nature of the product, we do not typically accept returns. However, we understand there may be shipping errors or you may need extra assistance to determine the best product for your sleeping needs. We are pleased to assist you in determining a more appropriate product for your personal preferences. Simply call us at 415-348-0084 and we are pleased to offer any assistance.


3. An item I ordered is on backorder. What does that mean?

A back ordered item is a product that is not currently in stock. No worries, we have ordered more and they will be arriving shortly. We will not charge your credit card for the item on backorder until it is shipped from our warehouse and it’s shipped to you. If you have questions about a back ordered item’s availability for shipment, simply call us at 415-348-0084 and we are pleased to offer any assistance.


4. How do I check the status of my order?

If you have an online Down Etc account, log in and click on 'order history'. Here you will find a list of all orders you have placed with Down Etc and their current status and shipping tracking information. This information is only accessible online if you have previously created an online account with Down Etc . If you do not have a Down Etc account, simply call us at 415-348-0084 and we are pleased to offer any assistance.


5. How do you ship my order?

Our Standard Delivery method is UPS. For most in-stock items you can expect to receive your order within 7-10 business days of placing your order, depending on your delivery area.

6. I received a split order?

Down Etc will ship orders in multiple boxes if one or more of the items in your order was placed on backorder. A backordered item is a product that we do not currently have in stock but will be arriving shortly. Finally, your order may have contained too many items to fit in our largest box size and in this case we will package your order in multiple smaller boxes. Down Etc does not charge additional shipping costs for multiple shipments unless you have requested shipping to more than one address. 7. How do I edit my shopping cart?

Before you click on the 'Submit Order' button before you checkout - return to your shopping basket and edit items. If you have already submitted your order, simply call us at 415-348-0084 and we are pleased to assist you in changing your order.


8. How do I use your gift or wedding registry?

Down Etc’s registry is a simple way to select the items for your wedding or special event and share the list with your friends and family! Access the registry tab from the footer on any page of the site. Newlyweds often select the best Down Etc comforters, pillows, blankets, throws, sheet sets, and towels to turn their house into a home. The gift of Down Etc bedding products to newlyweds is the perfect way to help them start their new life.


9. How do I use my Down Etc gift certificate?

You can redeem your gift certificate online during checkout. Simply type in your gift certificate number during your checkout. You may redeem more than one gift certificate on an individual order, and you can also combine a gift certificate with a credit card payment. 10. I have a promotion code; where do I enter it to receive my discount?

Simply type in your promotion/coupon code in the box titled Coupon Code during your checkout. Coupon codes can not be combined unless specifically disclosed in the promotion. Promotion codes can not be used on the purchase of gift cards. Coupon codes are only valid for purchases made on downetc.com.

These email addresses are used for marketing emails as well as order and shipping confirmation emails that you may receive from us. Adding this address to your email address book will ensure that the special offers, promotions and news from downetc@downetc.com get delivered to you.
